How to Merge Open Tickets in Alto’s POS

In Alto’s, you can combine (i.e. merge) multiple tickets into a single ticket. To do so:

  1. First, go to the list of open/saved tickets by tapping the Open Tickets button on the sale screen.
  1. Open the ticket which you want to merge with another one by tapping on it.
  1. To combine it with another one, tap the vertical ellipsis () and select Merge ticket.
  1. Select another ticket with which you want to merge the active ticket and tap Done.
  1. Next, select the ticket in which you want to have the merged orders and tap Done.

Alternatively, you can merge tickets while you are in the open tickets list. To do so:

  1. Go to the list of open/saved tickets by tapping the Open Tickets button on the sale screen.
  1. Tap the Edit button in the upper right corner.
  1. Now select the tickets (at least 2) you want to merge and tap the Merge icon.
  1. Next, select the ticket in which you want to have the merged orders and tap Done.

Now all the orders are combined one merged ticket.

Note: Discounts, taxes, modifiers and comments applied to individual items will be transferred in the same form to the merged ticket, whereas percentage and amount discounts applied to entire tickets will be applied to the entire merged ticket.
