Any credit card processing system can be used to process payments and operate separately without the need to integrate it with Alto’s POS (Android, iOS or Desktop version).
Upon completion of a sale transaction, Alto’s POS offers payment type options such as card or cash. However, it is not connected with the credit card terminal and does not transfer the purchase details to the terminal. Therefore, a cashier needs to manually enter the amount of sale into the card terminal to process the payment.
Next, return to Alto’s POS, choose Card payment type and charge. Thus, payments made via card will be added to Reports.
The receipt will include information about payment type used during the sale transaction.
From the Back Office interface go to Reports > Payment Types to view all sales transactions made by credit card.
