Barcode scanners can be used to complete sales more fast and accurately by scanning product barcodes and adding them to the sale ticket. In order to do so, make sure you have paired your scanner with Alto’s POS and have added barcodes to your products beforehand.
- Start Alto’s POS app (Android, iOS or Desktop) and go to the Point of Sale interface.
2. Scan your product’s barcode with a scanner to add it to your ticket.
3. Rescan the same barcode to add one or more of the same product to the ticket.
